Am I Too Deep for You?
|
Tell me honey, am I too deep for you?
|
If I ask how you’re feelin’, maybe you’re too blue. |
If I tell you honey, what I’m thinkin’ of you.
Come on! Tell me darlin’, am I too deep for you?

Joking and laughing, I can play all day.
I’m not looking for trouble, but it comes my way.
Coming up with things, that are witty to say.
Hon, maybe, you’re just taking it, all the wrong way!
The Lord made us all, in a different way.
He made some real serious, and some who can play.
If my mind works, a bit deeper from you’s,
Maybe you’re just too shallow, to catch all my cues.
When did honesty, become a bad thing?
It’s not like I’m askin’, to wear your wedding ring!
Is it wrong to notice, a good quality or two?
Come on! Tell me darlin’, am I too deep for you?
Tell me honey, am I too deep for you?
If I ask how you’re feelin’, maybe you’ve got the flu.
If I tell you honey, what I’m thinkin’ of you.
Come on! Tell me darlin’, am I too deep for you?
