From Boy to Man |
|

How
do you let go of the life you gave
Who grew up so strong and brave? How do I truly say, it’s okay… That you’re leaving, going so far away?

My heart fills with pride in his decision.
My heart grieves for the loss of my son. A boy is leaving; a young man will transform. I’ll miss the boy, yet embrace my young, man son.
|
| Years
went by too quickly and are now past
Yet, the bond we share is one that will last. He’ll be back I know, for a short while, When he leaves again, I’ll be forcing a smile.

Who grew up so strong and brave? How do I truly say, it’s okay… That you’re leaving, going so far away? |
