About the Author

Hello All,

Thanks for stopping in.

Well, this is where you get to find out my life history, so I'll get started sharing some information with you. Born and raised in Minneapolis Minnesota, I'm the third daughter in a family of six girls and one lone boy. When I was about six, our mother gave us the precious gift of story books, beginning with nursery rhymes and fairy tales. Oh, how I loved those stories! I would read them over many times. As I grew older, I progressed to the more interesting stories of knights in shinning armor, princesses, dragons and all manner of tales.

As I grew to be a teenager, I was the most requested babysitter in the neighborhood, because of the way I would rewrite and read the Mother Goose Stories. The kids loved them so much, they never went to sleep and kept wanting more stories. Likely, I was a better story teller than I was a babysitter. :-)

While still in school, my teachers always remarked that I came up with some of the best stories. To this day, I'm not sure if they were referring to the written, or verbal stories that I would tell to get out of trouble. *Smiles*  Yes, I was a spunky young girl with a great imagination and a gift for gab, when I needed it, ->

Yes, this is me on a good day.

and loved to play with words.

Life went on and I gained adventure and wisdom came to me when I became a mother. Now, a woman with life experience added to my resume, I am happy to report that I have only a few life regrets. None too serious.

I began taking my talents seriously in 1995 and felt as though words were being dictated to me, by an outside force. I've been reading and writing every day since. I have spent many hours at the Libraries and online, doing research and then bringing it home to decipher my notes. So far I've written and rewritten, three full length novels (working on the forth through sixth), many short stories and have received awards and been published, for my poetry. In 2004, I will be included in the book of "Who's Who in Poetry." Have I bragged enough? Yes, I try to be a humble person.

Okay, the titles of the three finished stories are, "Becoming an Angel", "Where Angel's Tread", and "Gypsy Spirit on the Road to Find Out" (Now published, in BOOK FORM, by Publish America.)

The first, 'Becoming an Angel', concerns an earth bound angel, learning where she had come from, as she was actually born human; followed by the time she is an angel in, 'Where Angels Tread'. I really played with this one, stretching the limits and bounds of what may be acceptable behavior for an angel. Remember, these are FICTION stories! 'Gypsy Spirit on the Road to Find Out' is a biography, and my first Published novel. The last in the three angel series stories is number four, 'The Aftermath'; partly written, need to do more research on it and finish writing it. The fifth and sixth stories have no titles as yet and are still in outline form. (By the way... the last two have nothing to do with angels.)

OKAY, now you know a few things about me and my writing. I feel you know enough, for now. If you have any more questions, feel free to send me an email. I'll respond as soon as possible. However, be prepared to answer lots of questions, as I may want to write your life story. :-) Please type "BRINNA" in the subject line. Thank you.

Love to you all,

Brinna
